Coast

Next to mountain landscapes, I think Britain’s coast has provided my most enduring scenic inspiration since I first began capturing fuzzy holiday snaps back in the 1980s. My current portfolio is hopefully more varied, yet the coastal pictures have kept on coming… for each holiday or mini-break finds us gravitating, like a human tide, toward the seaside!

And the inspiration hasn’t only come from Britain’s scenic shoreline. We may not have ventured overseas since Covid struck in 2020, but I’ve briefly raided our cruising archives to dust off a handful of my favourite travel images, from the Arctic North down to more tropical climes… :-)
